Can Sea Moss Help Fight C-19?

It’s a hot topic right now. Many people are very clearly concerned about the spread, and what may help fight C19. I believe that Sea Moss may help with the symptoms.

I must stress that this is my personal opinion. This is based on the research I have done with the benefits of Irish Sea Moss, and my experience in using Sea Moss to combat flu-like symptoms in the past.

Let me be very clear with this point; I am not a scientist nor a physician.

But I have found scientific research which back up my personal experience, and indicates that Sea Moss may prove to be beneficial.

The Novel C19

The last thing we want to inspire in any situation, especially one like this, is fear of any kind. Our aim here is to inspire hope and encourage critical thinking, and doing your own research.

Please keep in mind that the landscape in a situation like this is changing almost daily. For your own benefit, you need to find a source of information that you trust and find to be valid.

If you suspect that this may be something that you have, it is advisable to take appropriate steps, and seek professional advice. We tend to get a lot of comments on some of our posts, and we aim to help where we can.

However, with things of this nature you are much better off seeking timely, professional medical advice that you trust, rather than waiting for a reply to a comment on any given website.

We encourage you to discuss things so everyone can learn from each other, and if you feel that there is something of value that you can share, we warmly welcome your contribution.

With that said, it is important to understand what the symptoms of C19 are currently proving to be based on the research.

C19 is currently understood to be a virus that causes infection in your upper respiratory tract (some Specialists believe this may evolve or change as time goes on).

This includes the sinuses, nose, throat, and may exhibit flu-like symptoms. Influenza and C19 are both respiratory tract infections, so it may be difficult to distinguish between the two.

The biggest challenge with C19 is how rapidly it seems to spread from one person to another. Hence the requirement to isolate ourselves from others to prevent spreading the infection.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), symptoms of C19 may include:1

  • A Dry Cough
  • Fever
  • Tiredness
  • Sore Throat
  • Difficulty Breathing
  • Aches and Pains
  • A Runny Nose
  • Diarrhea, and
  • Nausea

Worst case scenario:

  • Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS)
  • Pneumonia
  • Death

How Could Sea Moss Help?

There are health-promoting properties in Sea Moss that support, and even improve, immune function based on the studies completed by Researchers in many countries and different institutions.

Irish Sea Moss contains prebiotics and probiotics that support gut health and stimulate the immune system. The prebiotics feeds the probiotics, which are yeasts and live bacteria in the gut and help increase their population.

  1. I have COVID-19, fever diarrhea and extreme weakness. My daughter had given me a jar for Mother’s Day and I was told to have two teaspoons twice a day which I did yesterday. Today I feel so much better. My coughing isn’t as often nor as intense and no diarrhea so I will keep on taking it because I believe sea moss is kicking COVID-19 s butt.

    • That’s great to hear Lovette!

I’m sure that you and your Daughter are both very happy about this too. Has your Daughter reached out to the person she sourced the gel through to let them know about your feedback?

Even though this isn’t a product purchased through us, we’re so happy to hear of your good experience!

Here’s to your health and happiness 🙂

  2. Hello I do believe I have covid-19 I’m waiting on my test results to come back.i have all the symptoms for the virus, but I’ve had the same symptoms when I have had the flu. My sister dropped me some sea moss at my door today. I have given it a try today so I will see.

  3. Yes I was just diagnosed with COVID-19 I can’t believe I have no smell or taste I pray the sea moss is the medicine we need

    • Hello Lapronda,

With how quickly things seem to be evolving in this space I hope you find something that helps you. Based on the research I’ve been exposed to something to ask about from the Doctor who completed the test, or the laboratory if you’re dealing directly with one for some reason, is the cycle count. This video I found helped me understand something that very few people seem to know about with what a cycle count is under a positive test result – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWqNl4UUlH0

I can guarantee you’ll never learn less, and I hope that you find valuable and empowering information that helps keep you healthy and happy!

    • Thank you for sharing yours and your Husband’s experience, Sheryl. We wish you a speedy recovery!
