Should I Do A Colon Cleanse Before Diet Changes?

A colon cleanse before diet changes are made helps to ensure you get the most out of any modifications to your diet. Undertaking a colon cleanse will purge your systems of waste and help with:

  • Reducing cravings
  • Weight reduction
  • Resetting metabolism
  • Maintaining a healthy weight
  • Clearing the body of pesticides
  • Potentially killing and removing parasites from the digestive system, and 1
  • Increasing hydration

Doing a colon cleanse before diet changes are made will help with weight loss. It is true, that weight loss is a journey, but more importantly, it’s about making lifestyle changes.

Short-term diets are a fad and the results are temporary. Unfortunately, too many people think that they can go on a diet and all their health problems or weight issues will disappear.

If you want to truly enjoy a healthy weight, you will need to make some permanent changes to ensure that long-lasting effects are gained.

There are three primary reasons why people struggle with their weight. Firstly, they simply eat far too much food. Secondly, people don’t consume enough water and are dehydrated.

Thirdly, we aren’t designed to consume all the garbage that’s available to us nowadays.

The garbage I’m referring to are things that are high in unsaturated fats, processed sugars, and artificial sweeteners and have been manufactured in a lab.

When choosing to consume these so-called food products the body has difficulty breaking down the unnatural materials. Where possible, it’s best to remove these things from your diet altogether.

Should I do a colon cleanse before diet changes?

The short answer is, yes. However, it’s not mandatory. Many people have changed their eating habits and experienced fantastic results.

Doing a colon cleanse before diet changes are made will help reset the body and maximize your weight loss success. Colon cleansing is a form of fasting, although you wouldn’t think so.

Therefore, the body will go into a little shock which starts the weight loss journey off quickly.

Colon cleansing helps to rid the body of harmful toxins, heavy metals, and poisons. These poisons can play havoc with your system. We use a colon cleanse which contains Bentonite Clay and Psyllium Husk.

The Bentonite Clay is a drawing agent, that removes harmful toxins out of the system. The Psyllium Husk is the fibre that breaks down built-up plaque and pushes it through the intestine.

If you want to be healthy and maintain a healthy weight, consider just adding more fruits and vegetables to your diet. Stay away from refined sugar as much as possible.

This stuff is so bad for us. By just removing sodas from your diet, including diet sodas, you start losing weight.

Sugar and processed foods are addictive, which is why you want to keep consuming them. This is why they are difficult to quit, the hardest part of working through cutting these out is the cravings.

So, get your head in the right space and make a decision. Your body will thank you for it.

In summary, we recommend doing a colon cleanse before diet changes are made. Try to consume more whole foods like fruits and vegetables.

Naturally, you will reduce the amount of processed and packaged foods in your diet. This will help with also reducing the amount of food you’re currently consuming. Make sure that you drink plenty of water. You’ll be amazed at how much better you’ll feel.
