Gluten free recipes don’t have to be difficult or tasteless. So many people struggle to adjust to making meals that don’t contain gluten in the earlier days. We have pulled together some of our favorite gluten free options and added a little Sea Moss magic from time to time. You can pick up your Sea Moss here!
If you’re new here then you may not be aware of our Gluten Free Red Velvet Cake. This is a winner with so many of our guests when they come to visit us. I particularly love letting this little treat come to room temperature so the dairy free chocolate ganache softens up.
What is quite amazing is that this cake contains no flour of any kind at all! That’s right, there’s no amaranth flour, buckwheat flour, almond flour, coconut flour, rice flour, cassava flour, chickpea flour, oat flour, sorghum flour, tapioca flour, or even teff flour!
Just beetroot, almonds, cashews, psyllium husk, sea moss, dates and a bunch of other yummy ingredients. It’s the sea moss and psyllium husk that help with the binding. That, and the dates.
Maybe you’re not that much of a sweet tooth. In that case we have some yummy savory dishes that should hit the spot. We’ve got a warming lentil and chickpea Moroccan stew that is great on any cold winter night, right through to a banana free smoothie bowl for a hot summer day.
