Yes, I know I’m a chocolate addict but who can blame me. This Vegan Chocolate Avocado Mousse is simple, delicious, and healthy to boot. It’s so easy to make. If you’re short on time, just throw all the ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. Yummy!
The smooth, silky texture is due to the combination of the avocado and Irish sea moss. As far as flavour goes, you can’t taste the avocado and Irish sea moss.
The avocado and Irish sea moss are the foundation of this recipe. I find that this comes out really chocolatey with a creamy texture.

Choosing Your Avocados
I like to choose avocado’s which have a little bit of firmness to them. Then I allow them to ripen over the next couple of days. The reason I do this is that they’re less likely to be bruised from people poking at them in the supermarket.
Dark Versus Milk Chocolate
This recipe can be altered to taste. If you like it a little sweeter, add some more Agave or Maple Syrup. Do you prefer the flavour of dark chocolate?
Rather than using Cocoa powder, you can use a blend of 1/4 cup Cocoa and 1/4 cup Carob Powder. Do you prefer a milk chocolate flavor? You can use 1/2 cup Carob Powder. The beauty of this recipe is that it’s easy to adjust to taste.
