Using Bentonite Clay for a colon cleanse is really easy. Simply take about a teaspoon or two of your chosen Bentonite Clay mix and add it to some water.
You can make this into a drink, which is a bit of an accustomed taste in my opinion, or you can make a paste.
I like to mix my Bentonite Clay mix with some agave or honey and eat it as a paste. I’ll then drink 2 big glasses of room temperature to warm water. This helps get the mix down to where it needs to be as quickly as possible.
But to some people that sounds like no fun at all, so, why would you want to do this?
Here at Detox and Cure, we believe that health should be your highest priority. We believe that you can heal yourself naturally, by eliminating toxins from your lifestyle.
You may be wondering how it is possible at all to use Bentonite Clay for Colon Cleansing. Speaking from my personal experience, and you’ll find plenty more online, this is really quite easy.

Suffice to say that detoxification has been practiced worldwide for millions of years.
With cultures regularly partaking in cleansing ceremonies all over the world, this is something that people still do today to maintain optimal gut health.
Why use Bentonite Clay for Colon Cleansing?
One such product used for colon cleansing is Bentonite Clay. We’re going to walk you through the use of this amazing product as we explore how a Bentonite Clay colon cleanse works.
Bentonite Clay cleanses the body of toxins by means of its drawing abilities and helps the body to heal itself from within.
One of the benefits of using Bentonite Clay for colon cleansing is that you may experience the feeling of having more energy, noticeable weight loss, and clearer skin.
Initially, you may find that it is a bit of a challenge to keep up with the routine, but give yourself time and persist.
Can I only use Bentonite Clay for Colon Cleansing?
There are several ways in which you may choose to detoxify your body if you don’t want to use Bentonite Clay in a colon cleanse.
You may wish to eliminate harmful foods from your diet like sugar, caffeine, meat, or dairy, etc. Or you may wish to stop eating for a period of time.
When you choose to stop eating for smaller periods of time, such as a day, or part of a day, this is known as intermittent fasting. There are different methods of fasting, which can be most beneficial.
There are some diets that promote intermittent fasting, also known as the 5 and 2 Diet, which encourages that you feast for 5 days and fast for 2 days.
Why should I detox?
Many people these days are eating fast foods, which are highly-processed and cooked at high temperatures. Often, our bodies struggle to effectively digest these when they are the staple of our diet.
A little every now and then is manageable, but when these types of foods are a ‘go-to’ the body becomes clogged up with junk. That’s why it’s called junk food.
Add to our highly-processed food supply, our fresh food bowl of fruit and vegetables are consistently being sprayed with pesticides and toxic chemicals.
What is truly worrying about this is that we often find that we later consume these without much thought about what has been done to them.
As we eat our food each day, we are exposed to the risk of absorbing a large variety of toxins, pesticides, herbicides, chemicals, and heavy metals like mercury, and aluminum.
These tend to build up in the body and cause all sorts of problems. As the body struggles to flush them out on its own, a little help can be needed. This is where using Bentonite Clay for colon cleansing can really help.
Other than the harmful things we can be exposed to in our foods, and through how they are processed, there is another danger we need to be aware of.
Some people may consume too much food, causing the body to have difficulty digesting the food matter that is already in their system.
By using Bentonite Clay for Colon Cleansing your body is able to purge the waste more effectively. But, there are some considerations to make in how you use Bentonite Clay for colon cleansing.
This isn’t meant to be shock bait, but when you do a little digging and find out about what a high meat diet can do to your health, it really becomes quite worrying.
People who consume large amounts of animal products, particularly meat, are more likely to have decaying flesh stuck in their bodies, unable to get out.
I know that this sounds a bit full-on, but there is a reason why you are reading this, and the truth of the matter is, as Hypocrites said; that your food is your medicine, and your medicine is your food.
Rather than just looking at how to use Bentonite Clay for colon cleansing, you should also consider what your diet looks like once your cleanse is over.
Oh, by the way, we haven’t even touched on the negative effects that sugar plays in our lives. That’s some scary stuff if you haven’t found out already.
Some of the effects that a fast food, high sugar, or excessive consumption lifestyle may have on someone’s health could include:
- Unwanted fat deposits usually around the stomach and other organs
- Inconsistent bowl movements such as diarrhea or constipation
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and gastric pain
- Reduced metabolic rate
- Bloating and gas
- Hormonal imbalances
- Fluid retention
- Difficulty concentrating or foggy brain
- Headaches and irritability
- Skin conditions like acne, psoriasis, eczema or dry skin
In short, our modern day eating habits of consuming highly processed foods, high quantity of animal produce and sugars are not that good for us.
The convenience of modern living is having adverse effects on our health, and one of the best ways to reduce the impacts of these effects is to detoxify the body.
Benefits of using Bentonite Clay for Colon Cleansing
There are numerous benefits for using Bentonite Clay for colon cleansing. A colon cleanse works by removing waste which has built-up on the intestinal lining.
If this is permitted to remain in place it can become like a plaque, and it decreases the nutrient absorption into the body.
The short story is that a sick colon will create a sick body: Doctors have warned against letting waste in the colon build-up.
When this happens, it stops you from absorbing the nutrients, minerals, and vitamins from your food. If your colon is not clean you’ll never get well. And that could be a disaster!
Gut health is the most important place to start; it’s important to take part in a colon cleansing program.
Before starting a detox or fasting, it is recommended that you cleanse the gut by getting rid of the built-up plaque, parasites, and excess waste within the body. Using Bentonite Clay for colon cleansing is my go-to here.
Also, using good quality probiotics will help to improve the good yeast and bacteria in your gut. However, as I have mentioned, this is pointless unless you cleanse out the rubbish first.
Bentonite Clay, also known as Montmorillonite, is an odorless drawing powder. It is a natural cleansing agent and purifies the body. The best way to use Bentonite Clay for colon cleansing is to consume it.
There are many different types of Bentonite Clay for colon cleansing products on the market, but not all Bentonite Clay is created the same. Some, depending upon where it is from, is not safe for human use.
How Bentonite Clay for Colon Cleansing Works
As the Bentonite Clay moves through your digestive system, and to your colon, it brushes up against the walls of the intestinal tract breaking down excess plaque.
Plaque and built-up waste are parasitic breeding grounds. The Bentonite Clay Colon Cleanse mixture absorbs the harmful substances, impurities, and pollutants from your body and literally carries them right out the back door.
Bentonite Clay is high in mineral compounds such as calcium ions, silica, sodium ions, magnesium ions and potassium ions.
These mineral compounds are not absorbed into the body during the colon cleansing process. Actually, it’s quite the opposite.
This special blend of minerals draws the toxic chemicals out of the body and helps to break down the plaque build-up on the intestinal walls. The body then pushes the excess waste out of the body.
How to use Bentonite Clay for Colon Cleansing
Like most things, there are a few different methods that you could apply to a colon cleanse. Some people may wish to take a more gentle approach. Adding one teaspoon of Colon Cleansing mixture to a smoothie in the morning would be a slow-paced start.
This may be advisable if you haven’t used Bentonite Clay for colon cleansing before. Alternatively, you could add one teaspoon of Colon Cleansing mixture to warm distilled water and drink it quickly.
Continuing to consume the Colon Cleansing mixture once a day for up to 28-days is what I would describe as a less intense approach.
For a more intense colon clean, you may wish to do a 4-day colon cleanse. Combine 1-2 tablespoons of the Colon
Cleansing mixture with a sweetener, such as organic honey, agave, or apple juice, and approximately 200 ml of warm distilled water, and mix well.
Consume this mixture every 2-hours, 5 times a day for 4 days. You need to make sure that you drink at least 1 liter of water between servings.
This part is not negotiable, as the Bentonite Clay will not move through your system effectively if you do not keep yourself hydrated. You will have a high chance of feeling bloated quite quickly, and then constipated.
This point bears repeating: When using Bentonite Clay for colon cleansing, ensure that you drink plenty of water.
